As I’m homesteading since a few weeks here in France, I’ve been wearing this instead of my daily Longines.

At a cheap prince point ( 25/30€ ) this is a lovely wearable tool, but I recon the time zone function will useless for a while. And that makes me sad

This has been my pandemic watch of choice too.

Been rocking my silver one daily since January. They are lovely. Is there a more solid one in the same or very similar design. I don't know the g-shock range at all but a g-shock the same dimensions could be a good one to check out.

Think I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and pick one up. Would've loved one of the Seikos they were 'inspired' by, but having just looked at the price, I'll settle for the Casio.

What's the reference for the inspiration?

Indeed, and you can even go posh with the gold version, or a leather strap. (Not mine, pic found for illustration.

I've also seen people do mods to these with colour added to the different segments of the screen or the full display. They look good fun to play around with.

Thanks. I had heard some of the Bond chat but not in that detail. I quite like the Seiko but I'd have to see it in the flesh.

The glacial movement that is my movement upgrade slowly moves a step further.

Black with lume day and date wheels.

The lume isn't a 100% match for the stock Seiko, but it should hopefully match the hands. Regardless it was chosen mainly because it was the same cost as a non-lume so I thought I may as well.

Hard to photo it at the moment without a hint a glow, but irl daylight it does look stock white.
