thinking they might be more interesting with green suit than the black derbys im also keeping

I hope you have voluminous feet/thick socks!
My Tricker’s built on the same last are comedically roomy. Had to get toe pads to stop my feet from slipping out. -

i can send back if theyre too big, i got a half size down as it suggests

As previously recommended to someone else, you want some tongue pads. They'll take up some of the volume so that your facings aren't touching/so that you don't have any slippage. Have them in my Tricker's as, despite the correct length and width, they were just cavernous in there.
PS look great. Love Tricker's...

I go up a half size in paraboot - that’s what I recommended to @johnnettles2 and think they worked out well for him

an update on previously recommended - Richard James have a 30% off sale on their footwear currently and the apron toe derbys are a much nicer version of Paraboot Avignon imo

Did you buy your normal shoe size on the Sorel slippers? There is so much conflicting advice on the sizing.
Some say true to size, others go down a size. Looking at the Sorel measurement chart suggests I should go up a size!
Anyone else have a pair? -

They’re a uk10, perfect fit, most of my shoes are 9 or 9.5

Thanks- I ordered my usual size 10 on Amazon earlier at £37.50. Hopefully they’ll fit especially as the 11’s are £51.99!
Update - had the size 10 for a few days now and now the lining is compacted, they are perfect.

I'm a 9.5 in most things and went for a 9. Usual size should be fine!
At first i was going to send them back as they seemed too small, but after a few days walking around the wool lining compacted considerably, and they're perfect now.

My William Lennon boots are almost finished. They were waiting for a vibram delivery to be able to attach the sole and complete the job, then lockdown occurred.

Bollocks! Got these last July (ordered in April), they really are fantastic boots, and for the money, absolutely no complaints.
Edit: which ones did you go for? -

Thought this was the best thread for this.
I have a pair of leather gloves that I need to stretch to fit.
I would just soak them in water and try to wear and shape them when drying.
Are there any other ways?
Should I add something to the water to help making the leather more elastic or to prevent it from drying up after? Like rubbing alcohol? Or oil? If so what kind? -

Gut feel says cold tap water and wear them, anything else might mess with the leather too much.
How much stretching is needed? I bought a pair of hestra gloves last year that were tight but now fits great after just wearing them a lot
Quick one and sure this has been asked and replied to already. How are paraboot sizing? True to size or size down? Thanks in advance .
