I was 4 weeks away from Peaks Challenge Falls Creek when I got decked. One year of training for it in the bank pretty much, probably close to 14000km. Shape of my life. By all accounts the event was super miserable, rain for a solid 4 hours and temps close to freezing on top of the passes. Still, wish I'd been there.

If it's any consolation, I don't think I've ever got that metric as high as 69.
