Norwegian Air is cancelling 85% of flights, and laying off 90% of staff.
This is neat... by doing this every single person can get unemployment benefit immediately.
Then when the situation has passed, you hire everyone back.
I suspect that this is how to do it... but businesses still need to borrow at low rates to pay for premises, etc in the meantime.
