I tested them side by side with the AKG and these were hands down better. More robust, better sound, look better.
You get a decent hard carry case too but it's a bit square.
Worth a try as you can always return to Amazon if you don't like them

Hmm, maybe not the AKGs then unless I find some cheap second-hand.
I don't mind in-ears for a few hours at a time but I'm not sure about 9 hours. If I don't find anything else I may give them a try though. They seem a fair bit cheaper in the US so may hold out until my next trip to get them (although when that will be who knows).
