  • Obvs we will de gunk it . That picture was taken just before I persuaded him not to send off for a service .

  • Looking forward to post pic

  • It wasn’t very nice . Honest , but not very nice.

  • What I say?!
Sorry if I hurt your feelings :-(

I'm in self isolation so I'm a little grumpy.

  • Those lugs have been polished at some stage, right?

  • No I meant the watch was “honest”
    No feelings hurt !

  • We don’t think so , but maybe. Only been serviced once in the early 90’s by Rolex .

  • Like virus, self isolation??

  • Just bad design overall then. Should have made it 38mm, much closer to the original and would have complimented layout and movement. They've only put "automatic" down there as even they know it's not well balanced. Seems silly to me when a company of that history has so many options.
Second model you added is much better for sure. Not so fussed on the whole heat treatment blue hands myself either.

  • Heads up for anyone look at Black Bay 41:

Just been to Burrells in Winchester and they have a brand new one reduced to £1575. Shops just closed, apparently only just went in the window.

Decent saving with 5 year warranty.

  • Looks good, I tried the 36mm while back. It’s a lovely watch but to me, somethings missing, I don’t know what.

  • I tried both sizes on. Wish they'd gone from 36mm to 39mm to be honest. Makes it more of a dress watch size and separates it nicely from the divers in the Black Bay range.
I felt the same way about the 58, when you say that you felt it had something missing. Maybe a colour change could sway me.
I asked why the reduction and the gent in the shop seemed to think that being 41mm like many others in the range, movement wise it may be upgraded to in house and potentially thinned down like the 58 but in the 41mm size.
Makes sense I guess but also slightly tempted me more if it's going to be discontinued...

  • 41mm is too big on that reference. The 36 is perfect given the sparse dial design. The 41mm just looks empty and boring. They're expensive for a 2824, but you're paying for the case and Tudor name I guess. I like the 36 a lot.

  • Seems like a bargain for sure. Shame it’s 41mm.

  • @PawG True @JB Also true.

  • On the mesh

  • Great spot .
    I really like that.
Tempted to give them a ring , I wonder why it’s discounted

  • They're clearing out loads of Tudor.

  • They have that chrono on sale too .

  • I’ve got two heritage chrono on sale as well. Both preowned but unworn .

  • Did you go for it??

  • I wonder with the Coronavirus... will I be able to finally buy a Rolex here in Geneva?!

  • Really like the look of this, very little information apart from
Trusted advisor and a couple of forum about Enoksen watches.

  • Hands are a bit on the small side for the dial IMHO. And the case is huuuuuge ~ 44mm not inc crown. Not bad value though.
