My English 29er has always used cable discs for ease of dismantling and the ability to make repairs easily. I never found a need for any more power than they provided, and I like running as much of the same equipment across bikes as possible, hence this has the same TRP spyke, extralite ultralever 2, kcnc razor rotor combination... Which is also one of the lightest setups around. The English has nokon cables, but on this one I'm trying out the Yokozuna reaction cables.
Why did you go for a mechanical brake?
