  • I think most theft policies cover robbery by threat of violence - certainly any cycle theft policy I've ever looked at has had wording to that effect.

  • Not a Tag fan but rate this 👍

  • I have and I really like the look of it, still yet to try. It's not so much the case or bracelet (would probably go with the black strap anyway) but that the dial on the green looks way too shiny. The last photo you added of the current black model does have a gloss dial but it's nowhere near as much as the green by the other image.
I think the old 38mm would fit perfectly but I'm not fully convinced by the rounded corners of the date window as I think it detracts from the overall sharpness of the markers etc. Then again, also never tried on.

  • Sorry, the second one with silver dial.

  • This is probably great in person but I feel it definitely echoes my opinon on Seikos rendered images.
Showing the strap so disconnected from the case and then also showing it like it's just hovering as there's no hint of a strap at the top?? They do such a grand job of polishing like no one in the business and put images like these forward...

  • I'm not saying that I go diving with any of my watches. But the ones that I have that are waterproof stay on if I'm at the beach or go swimming in the lake.

Just saying I wouldn't have a leather strap on my SKX in the same way that I wouldn't wear a pair of brogues to go jumping through puddles.

  • Love this. Does the shuttle move?

  • Mothers new watch day

  • Unfortunately it doesn't, still fun watch tho.

  • Cheers!

  • Yay!

Elegant and refined. I assume you didn’t choose it :)

  • I did make the mistake of recommending the 36mm... She says it's to big. She'd be happy with a 24mm... I convinced her that today is bigger.

I had no say in it though. Else she'd be enjoying a Uboat.

  • I chose it to work with my aesthetic - I have an innate ability to make everything I wear look scruffy so I can’t wear shiny things without feeling ridiculously self-conscious.

  • Well it looks spot on to me ( although obvs agree that a U Boat is the obvious choice for a mum).

There are advantages to having the bigger size - easier to read. My mum was after a new watch for Christmas. She was away with my sis for Xmas so I had the pleasure of FaceTime from a well refreshed mother late in the day. Mum was super excited as my sis had got her a Rolex! Blimey, all I got was a book and some gloves. Well, it turns out that Mum’s eyes weren’t good enough to properly see the name - she saw it began with an R and took a guess. My sis eventually put her straight that it was actually a Rotary...

  • Brogues were designed for jumping through puddles.. Thats what the holes are for..

  • So... @dammit, you only buy the rolex to feature more than DJ and @stonehedge?

  • Bit of a random query. Can anyone identify any of these. Any approx values would be useful too. They belonged to my wife’s great aunt and I think we will be disposing of them soon.

  • Does the first one say ‘foreign’ at the bottom? Fantastic if so.

  • See Becknam got his Inter Pelagos personalized.

This looks a bit cooler IMO.

  • I can’t see any words on the face. But inside the rear case looks like this. I need new glasses and am struggling to read it.
