Forma repaired and back with me, took around 2 weeks door to door.

Full carbon lite was fake so I got a refund.

Wife enjoys new saddle.

Tempted to just buy a full carbon lite, cheapest I can find is £400 on starbike. Would anyone be interested in a 10 month old forma? Guess it has done around 7,000miles.

I use a Selle SMP Hell/Well on my main bike but will be purchasing a Brompton soon. I was thinking of getting a SMP TRK Medium. Does anyone have a personal ride comparison between the two? I'm going to be wearing predominantly non-padded trousers.

The TRK is cheaper and has poor forming on the cover. I bought one years back and returned it for a refund. Why not stick with what works?

I keep trying to justify the purchase but I’m not sure you can.

well, it's basically artisanal Italian produce so it's supporting highly skilled production in an EU country-I'd happily buy one at full whack but can't afford it!

The shell in the real one is 1.5mm, it’s 2.7mm on the fake.

my fake doesn't have those alu strips... makes me wonder if the rails might crack. You keeping the fake?

Nah, it’s not even a “forma” shape, just the regular knock off full carbon with different stickers.

Edit: the strips are inox stainless steel, not Alu.

Because I have a fake one and always wondered if the silver paint was an attempt to look like reinforcement on the real deal. Clearly it is. Cheers!

I have a fake, love the shape, but its awfully stiff.

The real one feels less stiff when I squeeze it. Both deflect way less than my old forma. It will be interesting to see how it rides when my new build is finished.

I don’t think the full carbon lite is going to work on my 200k+ rides. It’s too stiff. Does anyone here want it for £300? It’s been used 3 times and cost £430. If not I may put it on eBay.

That stings more than any saddle I've used.
