Couldn't get the front bearings right so decided to wet sand the old cones back into shape. 150-240-400-600 grit and then metal polish. Turned out ok. I've already given up on these wheels as they weigh a ton each and are fugly but I enjoyed the experiment. Ordered a pair of the arkose 'adventure gravel' wheels in the evans sale, cba to build myself this time.
