  • If I was being generous to Moscon, I’d point out that he’s never been involved in the same sort of incident more than once.

  • That's probably why not many Australians make it into the peloton.
    All those impeded breathing tubes.

  • haha... the lufguss contraryism alive and kicking.

The guy chucked his bike in the face of Debusschere, cutting his wrist with the chain ring, while another rider on the deck got hit by it too. The daft prick then gets dq'd and feels entitled to rip his race numbers up for the cameras, incurring a littering fine in the process...

And yet, apparently "most of what he is accused of happens day in day out in pro racing and it’s just an opportunity to trot out more click bait."

Fucking lols if that happens day in day out, and the same guy's been sent on anger management and racial awareness training by his own team so hardly click bait, but Andy on, why don't you...

  • In other news, Damiani threatening to go on hunger strike if not let out of quarantine in UAE. Good luck with that...

  • Gorden! with an 'e' ARGHHHHHHH!!!!!

    (I had to google him)

There used to be fights after crashes if some poor darling's Zipps were a bit fucked or even if someone didn't like a move you made it'd be a good idea to collect your winnings and leave before it all got a bit carpark fighty.

  • We won the Tour before you lot and even he was half Aussie and born in Belgium. :-*

  • People throwing their own bikes is one thing, throwing someone else's doesn't happen that often.

  • I didn’t realise it wasn’t his own bike. Makes it much worse IMO.

  • Thought it a bit harsh DSQ Moscon for it. More surprised the rider it hit didn't thump him one. I wouldn't have hesitated.

  • Different when it's on TV and you get DQ'd yourself.

  • Saw that mentioned on twittter but they way it sounded was in addition to, I didn't realise they would be replacing the WC series

  • The Italian races have supposedly gotten a green light. Not sure if it's the best decision in the face of a pandemic, but panem et circenses have always gone down well.

  • for selfish reasons, this makes me happy. obvs, a bit concerning in light of pandemic but hey ho...

  • It will be interesting to see who actually goes to Strade/Tirreno/San Remo. For instance, Gilbert will obviously be desperate to be at San Remo, but will the rest of the team? I am aware that France has its own cases, but fewer than Italy (so far), I could see the field for Paris Nice strengthening considerably.

  • Women's Madison super crashy. Aussies bail on the shenanigans.

Dygert WR looks weird. @xavierdisley how often do you see riders test faster with wider hands? Seems the trend has for hands together. Don't often see people using her wide hand position.

  • KBK was a cool win for Asgreen. Commentary focused on how the remainder of QS in the peleton would be ready to pounce if he looked like getting caught so they were staying up front of the group, I wondered if, instead, they were up front to dampen the pace even slightly and stop multiple opposing teams getting up there and catching him.

  • A bit of both I think.

Dan lloyd and Magnus Bäckstedt did a pretty good job over the weekend. Was a shame to have to listen to Kirby when i watched the track racing.

  • Yeah I thought they were decent. Gcn for the women's omloop was good too, Rowe particularly. The guy got a bit carried away listing names.

    The women's race was mad

  • Women's race was great! AVV crushed it.

  • KBK was good to watch yesterday, even knowing the results. There was a bit where Asgreen even sat up as he felt doomed and then he tapped into the final chamber and got back into TT position. Great finale.

  • Dan lloyd and Magnus Bäckstedt are the best combination Eurosport have, I think. Shame they are so loyal to Kirby and Kelly.

  • There was a bit where Asgreen even sat up as he felt doomed

This is what's making me think there must have been even a little blocking! That body language plus that group behind doesn't often result in staying away

  • Rider dependent really - often works a bit better on track where the yaw angle is lower, but not common
