I don’t ride through puddles, I still get wet feet regardless. If there is a massive puddle I put both feet of the pedals until the puddle/flood is clear.

Really? If I do need to ride through puddles, my feet are on the mainframe.
I'll record my commute on a rainy day if I could be bothered but obviously I'm not up to speed enough...
