Probably. Difference between classic and modern Cervelo TT geo is quite significant though.

Mind summarising it in a sentence or so? I'm curious.

old are low stack:

Old ones long and low, new ones tall and short

Oh wow that's a very handy chart, thanks :)
Out of interest, did they give a specific reason for this?
-
• #432
High stack = bigger market :) (i guess)

So correct me if I am wrong, but are new cervelo BB tollerance/quality as terrible as people say?
-
• #437
Dont buy a cervelo
-
• #438
Was tempted after my bike got nicked, but after all the online forum and their quality of their BB going around. I don’t really want to go down that route. Even with their lovely S5 handlebar design.

get a hope/lotus track bike instead...
-
• #440
Get a Cipollini
-
• #441
Get a pinrello, has threaded bb!
-
• #442
I have Cervélo with BSA bb, is that good or bad?
-
• #443
good or bad
-
• #444
BSA BB is good.
-
• #445
S5 fork design is a bit fucked; there is a metal wedge inside the frame to stop it over rotating by ummmm banging directly against the head tube from the inside and delaminating it LOL
-
• #446
The BBright system is basically Cervelo going “let put BB30 but make it fashion”.
It work, but success rate is lower than even Cannondale for tolerance.
-

Mental design. Who greenlit this needs their head checking, I assumed there would be some type of pin, not a metal cam on the inside of the headtube.
-
• #448
He says in the video there was a pin in earlier models that could be replaced and it changed to this
-
• #449
I think he was referring to older bikes (look etc), not necessarily the S5.

I’ve joined the club (apologies that photo is shit, it’s an R5 with eTap and Carbon Rival wheels)

I ride a Xl 58 or 60cm road bike frame, if looking for a TT frame would i be looking in the same range?
I'm 6'3 for reference.
