Glad you're enjoying it. Sorry to hear about the issues with the forks. FWIW my experience with Fox/Silverfish has been excellent.
What passes for a longer stint? I'm wondering if it could take the place of a gravel bike running 29in semi-slicks and my BFe which I definitely don't use to its full potential.

TBH I think it would be an ideal candidate to replace those 2 bikes. Even without the 2 sets of wheels it would do you proud.
Longer stints? I did SDW on it in a day and used the 29er wheels then, but TBH I think the B+ wheels would have been fine too. I tend to find the 29er wheels come out if I've got a lot of road to link up the off road bits.
I honestly love it.
The manitou forks started playing up about 6 months ago so I sent them back to CRC for inspection and the whole thing turned into a fiasco. Long story short, they said they couldn't be repaired, but they wouldn't reimburse me or replace them as it was an obsolete model. And they didn't have an equivalent fork ie boost, 100mm, capable of taking a 3" tyre. After much wrangling I eventually got a credit and bought some Reba forks. But I'd been without it for nearly 4 months. And I missed it massively.
Got out for a first ride on it since the rebuild on Saturday. Its so bloody good, particularly in the 650x3.0 guise. But I really like the versatility of wanging a set of more xc friendly 29er wheels in it for longer stints.
