  • yeah, Because i dont have any brazing stuff, i had to tig the chainstays to the yoke, and i found the best way was to cut a rebate kinda thing on the outside of the cs. Was a bit awkward to get it a nice fit, but made the tig easier.

    i then welded a little cap on the end of the cs afterwards

    I'd have thought it'd have looked huge next to a tyre like that but you've really made it site nicely.

    I'm about to build another fat tyre fixed so might take some inspiration from this. I've ordered mtb s bend chainstays but reckon it's still going to be toight in that area. I've got a Konga yoke brazed up that I was going to use on a frame repair but might see how it'll fit on this frame.

  • Thanks, the yoke i used is the slightly smaller one, 2.15" instead of 3", i think that helps with the proportions
