one that I could never afford. :(
Me neither, barring a significant lottery win.
@freddo it would be a bit of a shit reveal if I had! Story is he wanted this Chronometre Bleu for a couple of years, sat on never ending waiting lists but couldn't justify the spend on the grey market even though it was going up and up. Shrewd enough to see where it was heading though he bit the bullet for less than half they go for now. Problem was he didn’t think he’d ‘earned’ it so wouldn’t wear it but talked about it all the bloody time! Got to say it did nothing for me in pics but in the flesh it’s very nice. Tantalum case whatever that is.
@BRM I think this model with its unique case, movement, dial and hands is set to become a classic.

I think it's the tits, probably my favourite execution of an FP Journe

Ah, got you.
It’s not that the finishing is weak per se, it’s more that I don’t like how they’ve chosen to do stuff. The dial texture just doesn’t look particularly nice and the indices are machined in a way that gives them a lot of shine but it just doesn’t look as classy as the white gold Rolex markers. Same for the hands, shiny but flat, they look laser cut or something.
The bracelet is decent but some way off the Oyster. The case and movement presentation are excellent though. I would def wear and enjoy it, I just think the price is a bit of a stretch.

Yeah the price is definitely too high in my opinion, think it would do better sat around the £3800 mark to get more sales against the Speedmaster, not knocking the spec as you say but I think people automatically see what Tudor and Rolex are offering for comparison at that price point.
I do like the almost graphical sharpness to it. When Patek released the Aquanaut in white gold with the green dial, I thought that the Aqua Terra would look nice in a similar colour and thats pretty much what they've gone for.
Ive said it before, I think Omega bracelets are a big letdown for the brand. Think I would buy it on a strap to be honest.
Messing about on Photoshop, think this would be a great addition to the Tudor colour range.

I know this is a bit predictable coming from me when regarding Omega but I couldn’t disagree more with regards to Aqua Terra / value for money .
It stacks up alongside datejust 2 all day long , for less money.
Tudor is lovely but not in the same league as the master chronometer movement . We see more Tudor warranty returns than omega.
All personal taste but the aqua terra is a more elegant watch than the datejust 2 whilst being more water resistant at the same time . -

The Aqua Terra bracelet is the best omega one in my opinion

I have a DJ 41 that was gifted to me. I don’t love it that much (too shiny) but it’s way nicer than that omega

Yeah, it is. And it’s still not a patch on the most basic Rolex Oyster bracelet. IMVHO.

Nice special edition here (and other variants)
Always room for another watch 🤪
Not my cup of tea, but it's small scale high quality stuff.
