• Also the DB is now finished and running. Its functional, and I intend to store it away from home, so it has a few low value functional parts added. Its great fun to ride actually, and sprints really nicely in the drops. Its so smooth with 25psi in the tires, and just floats over tactile pavement tops and cattle grids. Its annoying that the largest gear is only 48/13, it could go bigger. It is more CX / MX than my muddyfox, which was always supposed to be a drop bar mtb akin to the early 80's Potts and Cunningham bikes. Having only ridden less than 10km on the DB, I can honesty say I prefer the DB to ride, and its made me think hard about what I wanted the MF to be, and how it still fitted into the garage. More on that in the MF thread.
