Because good search done cheaply is like the hardest thing ever. And search isn't this forum's business.
I type the same word in Google along with "LFGSS" and I get every hit.
But it is Google's business.

It is. Velocio has explicitly said that every page you load is a search result. Also, the search on here is pretty good under the hood, although it still needs a better user interface. If you can be arsed, you can hack it to match multiple parameters. I can't remember whether we were promised a decent interface, but I've long since given up hope of getting one even if we were.
