When you say “proper” GMT, is it the Pepsi aesthetic that you’re after, or the jumping local hour functionality?
I’ve probably said this before but you really should take a look at some of the Grand Seiko GMTs IRL if you haven’t already. If you want a brand new GMT of Rolex quality at around Rolex RRP or less, they’re really the only option. SBGE211 is a really nice watch. The SBGJ201 / 203 (? IIRC) are beautiful but you might find them too thick or too shiny (I did).

SBGE201 has the rotating bezel and lume, but also a rotated date at 4. SBGJ219 is a less sporty option, strap rather than bracelet.
