Guys, in all seriousness, if a Chinese people cough (covering their mouth with tissue / flexed elbow properly) in front of you, what would your reaction be?

I have very bad asthma and it’s the cough type so I cough a lot and I have been increasingly self aware of when coughing in public. If I can hold I would but it’s not easy.

There’s how people like to think they’d react and then there’s their actual internal dialog/unconscious or outward reaction.

Have you noticed people reacting weirdly?

I got some weird look from a mother + school kid pair the other day, but there were at least a good 5-6 meters away from me.

So nothing bad yet but I am, understandably, a bit worried. I don’t mind the dirty look but I do mind very much the crazies.
