Chiquito £1 Taco tuesday and thursday?
My PITA children refuse to eat proper tacos. I'm gradually adjusting the recipe of the chilli I make but we still have some distance to go.

Have there been any reinfecitons in China from those recovered persons?

This is the bit about kids they don't tell you.
Think of yourself, and making me look less like a sad fucker eating tacos by myself as the OH doesn't do spicy food, nor mouldy food, nor certain red meats...but only if she knows. Like scoffing my pasta with beef pasta sauce when I left the table. That was an interesting arguement, which I was to blame.

People assume that all face masks are equal while they are not. A cheap face mask will do nothing to protect you against coronavirus, but a good one will. Masks with ratings above N95 actually filter particles such as viruses.
There is good material about ratings and respirators in general.

An Islington GP has closed because of it today. Too slow drawing up the bridges.

My office back in Shanghai has tasked me with buying masks and thermometers while I'm (still!!!) in the UK. I have thermometers. Where can I buy 500 masks?
(yes I know they're pointless but you can't take the metro without one on...) -

Interesting thanks

My father in law was one of the top mask people at 3M until he retired. He took great pleasure in watching news reports of things like this and pointing out which masks were useless, and which might actually do something. Sadly he's currently in New Zealand, so I can't ask him about it this time.

Woke up feeling rotten and had a panic attack, not bothered about myself but I've got two youngsters in the house, anyway the youngest's got a cold and flobbed in my mouth a couple of days ago so it's probably that

I'm definitely worried for the kids. Totally irrational of course but that's basically most of parenting.

This made me feel better as a parent:

Interesting, chickenpox and measles are certainly milder so it’s not quack science or spin

I dont know where she saw it but my girlfriend said “they where welding doors shut in china” to keep people indoors and places had been set on fire ! I find that hard to believe.
-
• #445
It's one of the many hoaxes swirling around on Twitter at the moment.
-
• #446
Actually, a bit unfair to call it a hoax. There are two or three videos showing doors being welded or barricaded shut but it appears that it is vigilante action by concerned neighbours rather than a widespread government thing.
At the moment, only Breitbart and the Sun are reporting on the videos.

Where is the line between sensible and panic. I went and bought what turned out to be the last of the hand sanitiser earlier, in the local pharmacy.

You terrible cunt.
Chiquito £1 Taco tuesday and thursday?
Am being flipant, hopefully to lighten the mood.
Was thinking of going to Wong Keis or one of the all you can throw down your neck chinese places as I fancy some chinese food. Thinking that the place should be panic deserted so less annoying people, but slower turn over of food due to less people....
