I thought you wanted to run gear cables? If you have bar end shifters and run the cables under the bar tape they’ll need to be longer. Also where the cable exits the bar tape near the stem it is best to run the outers to the opposite cable boss and cross the inners over under the frame. You can use less outer cable and they don’t get in the way of steering. Also looks way neater.
