I can't help, but any reason why? I have a sscx bike and can't really see the need for an oval ring.
Word on the street is that it helps with the hills.

If you want it to be better on the hills get the same size. If you size up you'll need to check it is going to fit, I've less than a mm on my bike that takes 43mm tyres and I'm running a 42t.
