  • Its the bracket that is causing the problem now. I´ve tried to cut it down beacuse it was hitting the headset. Now the slit is too shallow. What is a good fender for this?

  • Maybe moving the fender behind the fork crown gives you enough room for the tire? because not only the bracket, but also the rivets would then not be in the way anymore. But with the brake you've got you would need a different recessed nut, such as the problem solvers brake nut (still cheaper than new guards though?)

  • Yes, moving the fender back should help the situation. The curvature is strange now and it does not cover the feet that well. It turns out that the nut I needed was a Problem Solvers Sheldon Fender Nut. That is something to suck on.
