In all seriousness, the skinny high pressure tyres feel good cause of the conventional wisdom of road buzz = fast.
Bigger lower pressure tyres remove this nearly entirely, that riding at a steady 15mph feel disconcerting and slow in comparison.
Having said that, 47mm is definitely the sweet spot between comfort, speed and weight (tubeless).
Much to my surprise, the 47/8mm slick work really well off road in all but muddy conditions.
