He caught me again in the bogs.
For clarity, there is 1 standard toilet in a cubical, 1 urinal immediately adjacent to the toilet (other side of the flimsy wall) and a sink.
I was having a piss, he walks in "hello again, how you settling in?"
Me: "we really need to stop meeting in here"
He proceeds into trap number one, drops his kecks, says "yeah, you must think I'm your stalker, huhuhu" then rips one out and starts shitting.I washed my hands and legged it.
I've started going to the upstairs bogs to avoid him

If I'm in a multi-floor office I always use the bogs a floor above / below.

More a mild loathing than hate
But (not butt) fucking cushions!
Is there a collective noun, eg adiscomfort of soft furnishings. The moment that there are so many items adorning/cluttering it is impossible just to sit down with ease and without the need to rearrange the damn things. Followed by the guilt for the state of disorganised crushed items when you stand up.
If a sofa needs this many cushions to make it comfy the designer has fucked up the primary role of their product.
Similarly with beds, I just need one pillow to sleep on and when I want to sit up I have a spine. Every night I have to dump 3 pillows and cushions on the floor before I can get into bed and each morning they have to be artfully repositioned on the bed.

Yes, I hate the over used and often mis-used "OK boomer" meme too.

Sounds like something a confused boomer would say.

Poppy seeds on bread rolls. Seriously, what's the point? Save time, pour a small bag of them over your desk in advance...

Oasis. "Quoasis" was a dead accurate description of them. Plodding stadium rock with shit lyrics. Always amazed me that they claimed to be "obsessively" influenced by the Beatles; Ringo Starr wrote better songs than they did.
Thank the gods the rumours about them reforming were just that.

I understand the hate, but the first three singles still stand. And supersonic is one of - if not the best - debut singles ever made IMHO
Liam was a brilliant frontman with a brilliant raw voice. They should have quit after the first album

Supersonic is a massive banger and I won't hear otherwise.

They were definitely a thing. They were fucking loud, edgier than a lot of stuff in that "who let the scallies into the party" way, and they were fucking funny. Hard to write songs about dreaming of making it when suddenly you're the best thing ever. Everything up to (about)!morning glory is what you want when you're of that age. Loud, an attitude, them Vs us.
Everything from morning glory onwards is bilge.

Don't Look Back In Anger is also a massive "pissed as fuck on lukewarm lager, arms round your mates' shoulders at 2am, belting it out" tune.
The leaf blowers may have been (temporarily) blown away by Storm Bernard but the last couple of days they've been replaced by another similar irritating pulsing engine sound.
All of the trees in the roads near me are being pollarded and so it's an almost constant combination of chainsaws and industrial sized tree shredders.
