‘This morning we want to hear about the first time you saw shed seven while reading nme, wearing a lightening seeds t-shirt.’
TBF if you still have t-shirts from this era now; you weren't moshing hard enough back then.

If you ever had a lightening seeds t-shirt, you were never moshing :-)

Fair comment :)

one reason why it's peak lamacq is that band t-shirts are not a thing if you like any music other than white man guitar yawns
-
• #332
Band t-shirts are for people with favourite bands

not sure why all of you still listen to 6Music if the presenters/shows/audience interaction annoy you so much?
Is there no other options for you?
I have to listen to 6Music because the missus puts it on of a morning. Prefer Lauren to Shaun, can't stomach Maconie, Lamacq, Radcliffe or any of those duffers, but rarely have to listen to them. For me, bluetooth speaker and listening to the Sounds App, Gilles Peterson, or Benji B, and I'm good, otherwise playlists off itunes, mean I don't have to listen to the stuff I don't like.
What are the alternatives for you guys? Spotify/Mixcloud/ Deezer/ A.N.Other Digital radio station?

for me it's the one particular ad
TBF if I'm listening to the radio at drive time, Sarah Cox plays a genuinely better tune selection and if more fun to listen to

Personally, I only really have it on in the kitchen. I quite like having some music on in there but I’ve just got a little dab radio. Just want to be able to turn it on and music occur, rather than faffing with choosing something or linking my phone up or whatever. When I’m at work I use Spotify and when I’m in my lounge I play records as that’s where all my records are.

I can just tolerate "Lammo" and his inane, awful requests to hear your anecdotes about standing behind someone taller than you at a gig. But his insistence to keep playing songs by The Clash every fucking day with his insufferable smugness when he intros them... shudder

Radcliffe/Maconie, Gideon Coe........the only ones worth listening to.......obviously, IMHO
-
• #338
When I hear ‘lammo’ talking, I can’t help picturing Phil Cornwall as DJ Dave Clifton

Gideon Coe's ShedCast is underway, essential listening.

Yep, some fine shedworthy tracks playing. Love the Lifeforce’s The Freeze right now. I have four sheds out at the back but only two have mains power and the sitting room is warmer.

Chapeau to Lauren playing Ugly Duckling's Meatshake on the Rutland McD's peoples playlist.

Has Steve Lamacq stopped talking about the Camden scene yet?
-
• #347
I heard the Camden Monarch is due to become a gastro pub so he will likely go FULL SAXONDALE.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to dig the album out. It was crazy. La Revolucion was great
Gideon Coe keeping me sane though, doing strong work to mask out the office ‘playlist’ on speakers
