Powerpoint and slideshows in general can get in the bin. Make everyone produce a 10 minute video instead and stand there as it's played. No forgetting your lines, no one overrunning, less stress for the presenter, no last-minute presentation creation on the train to the meeting, no interruptions, fewer (?) technical problems, can be played even if you're sick or someone else has to take your place, can show actual videos of your data/idea/whatever if appropriate rather than fighting with Powerpoint, can be uploaded straight to Youtube after the conference or whatever, could be subtitled, etc.
