Lighter option, very easy to increase gear range when it works.
Spent another hour in the shed last night, got mine to work shit hot now with a few modifications and a different shifter

Having both options lets them offer 2-speed, 3-speed and 6-speed, getting them a much wider potential market.
Lot of LFGSS Brompton owners on 2-speed Bromptons.
