  • The rats bloody love it though

  • Some lucky foxes around my way got pretty much a full Xmas dinner a couple of weeks ago

  • Once saw a lady + child chucking bread to some ducks, except it was more mould than bread. Couldn't decide if she was trying to make the birds sick on purpose or just excessively opposed to food waste

    /csb

  • I took my mum's dog for a walk round Brockwell Park on boxing day. She grabbed multiple slices of bread out of a small child's hands. The child either couldn't understand or couldn't hear my explanation that the dog was doing a service to the community through his tears.

  • Thanks, dog.

  • Thog

  • ‘No context’ Twitter accounts... and war.

  • Gender reveal parties. Grow up.

  • if the kid grows up to be trans, do you get a refund?

  • Penis parties!

  • all my parties end up being penis parties ;_;

  • vehicles leaving their engine running while parked up

  • +1 Our house is directly opposite the entrance to a School. My Mrs is forever asking people to turn their engines off at Pick up time.

  • in a geared car I think they are also taught to drive up to a stopping point (e.g. junction) in 4th/5th gear and then change down when stopped rather than using the engine as a brake and changing down from 4th to 3rd to 2nd as I was taught in the 80's.

Well that's if what my son told me when he was taught is to be believed.

I have decades of nopeing the hell out of SP every time some BA has recommended it as a solution for wherever I’ve been working. This time, they got me.
How the fuck do people put up with this shit?!?

  • is that the one where they tell you to save everything of value on it for reference in future, save nothing on shared/personal drives and then in the next update it all gets lost?

  • That's what I used to teach and I've not been a driving instructor for a while now, brakes work quite well on cars now so no need to bother with engine braking unless it's a big ol' downhill.

  • Sharepoint - when you can't decide whether you want a shit intranet, a shit filing system, a shit database, a shit version control system, a shit wiki, or a shit workflow process tool

  • My brother had one recently and it was actually really nice. Nobody actually cared about the gender of the baby, was just an excuse to get close friends together to celebrate them having their first kid.

Cheaper to replace the brake discs than a fucked clutch. Also more fuel efficient to stay in the highest gear, no?

  • Isn't that known as a baby shower?

  • I guess it was a mix of both but yeah you're probably right!
