found a magazine review from early 2018 the off the peg complete bike with wide handle bars came in at 10.28kg
Seen some what appear to be low weight builds on here, just curious if anyones gone full weight weenie on a steel frameset and with the front disc brake conversions.

wow, the frame is only 2kg; I'd imagined it was a lot heavier...

I’m sure my mate that has a steamroller and a cinelli gazetta says says the steamroller is the lighter of the two.

Not much in it, Roller fork uncut is heavier than the unicrown cinelli fork, maybe 170 grams more.

Not much between the two.

I reckon they are at a CX race going by the tyres and dia-compe centre pull brakes it must be getting raced :)

Finally joined the roller club, after years of toing and froing! Got so excited after building it up at my local workshop a few weeks that I forgot to share here. The setup really isn't dialled in yet (am still v much after a shorter stem with little to zero rise, and I think probably a nice set of backswept/riser bars, as I was here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/340647/). For now though, just fucking thrilled to bits.

I tried those bars on my Cross Check (set up fixed) but it just did not look right. Looks ace here though!

With a CK headset they are a thing of beauty

edit: they're just flipped Nitto bullmooses aren't they, doy

Nitto Bullmoose but not flipped, I can't remember the exact model but they have that rise but a blunt nose, not a curving one.

What's the clearance like at the chainstays/seatstays?

Ah yeah that was why I was wondering, I couldn't find any that had the blunt nose. Did you chop the length down a bit too or are they just like that?

Plenty! I mean it is snug but there is a few mm there.

Yeah chopped them down by several years inches this bike needs to be able to filter.

I got them from Planet X, the filet-brazed version. I paid £50 for them but they have gone up since it seems. They are the B906.
