I wouldn't buy anything made of wool or leather, even if it was vintage, but understand why people would. I've only really become aware of the leather patch issue on jeans in the last year, and haven't bought any since - will definitely be aiming to avoid leather - don't know how easy it'll be to find them using my normal shopping strategy (the cheapest ones at TK Maxx that fit). I'm never knowingly fashionable, so not at all bothered if I have to have uncool jeans. Line drawn at dungarees though.

I was close to buying a mohair jumper because i liked the design but then did some research and yeh no mohair for me.
Leather is the same / fake fair - its buying a look. So even if it appears to be real - your still advertising the real thing in a sense.

Happy new year people... something that's been on my mind lately... would any of you consider, or have, bought vintage clothing that's made of wool etc? What jeans do you all wear, would you buy a pair of jeans with a leather label on them?
