Honestly looks a bit rubbish, even the Bora one was better.

Feels like a changing of the guard this year in mens racing. Bernal winning the TdeF on his second go, WVA winning a TT and then a sprint stage the next day in the Dauphine, Alaphillipe winning MSR and Strada Bianchi, then winning a TdeF TT to keep Yellow.
Winner though is MVDP for Amstel Gold. I know the time gap malfunction made it seem more impressive than it was, but still...
Can't remember such an exciting year in mens racing

I think the Irish nat champs jersey should be a flag style one like Italy's. I don't much like the current style
-

I guess it's a bit like Luxembourg-Netherlands-France; flags are very similar if you're not familiar with the differences (in Ireland's case Ireland-Italy-Mexico) and perhaps they want the rider to stand out not be mistaken for someone else on TV.

For me a tricolour/tricolore flag should be replicated on the jersey. If QS do it for the Belgian national champ, then why not the Irish national champ?

It's because the Irish cycling federation is for the entire island rather than just Ireland, or so I've read.

Makes sense so it does.

Why do the leg bands have the RoI flag on them then?
-

Going over some old photos, seems even Dave McCann had the tricolour on his jersey when he won; no idea about his personal politics/feelings though. I guess it'd be down to someone who wins the jersey to complain if they don't like it.

Just seen that Alex Richardson and Scott Thwaites are teammates of MVDP at the newly named Alpecin–Fenix (formerly Corrrendon Circus).

If you haven't checked it, the Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe podcast "Watts occurring" is really, really entertaining.

BT is not to be trusted. But I agree it does seem likely :-)

Yes! Glad he’s back, I’ve missed Mr 60%

He's a nice enough bloke but I'm not sure that him returning to top level cycling is a good thing.

Remco is doing the Giro

Listened to the Rohan Dennis, really enjoyed it. The sound quality is terrible though!
