Felt like the Bayern job came a bit early for him. And despite his firing, not sure it affected how he is viewed, just like how getting fired by Real Madrid or PSG doesn’t really affect whether you can get another managerial job or not.
Don’t know the ins and outs of his eintracht tenure, but other jobs will come up for him in Europe
Kovac was at Frankfurt and did a good job winning the cup, however his Adi Hutter took them to the next level I'd say. It was a huge surprise that he got the Bayern job, and although he won the league (or rather, Dortmund lost it) he underachieved with an exceptionally talented squad, albeit one that did need refreshing.
He won't get another job so high profile, so what makes you say West Ham is now below him?
