  • but you've been poor for a while right.
Where's the investment in the infrastructure, apart from your move to the olympic stadium?
What's the youth team set up looking like? Training ground? Where's the money you've earned from being in the Premier League gone?
Feels like you guys are constantly treading water, before grabbing hold of something to keep you above water before things go shit.
Why would Nico Kovac, or any other young ambitious manager (Eddie Howe has been mentioned) come to you for? Apart from showing what he could do to bigger Premier League clubs, and possibly getting a large pay off when he's shown the door.

Kovac was at Frankfurt and did a good job winning the cup, however his Adi Hutter took them to the next level I'd say. It was a huge surprise that he got the Bayern job, and although he won the league (or rather, Dortmund lost it) he underachieved with an exceptionally talented squad, albeit one that did need refreshing.

He won't get another job so high profile, so what makes you say West Ham is now below him?

  • Felt like the Bayern job came a bit early for him. And despite his firing, not sure it affected how he is viewed, just like how getting fired by Real Madrid or PSG doesn’t really affect whether you can get another managerial job or not.
Don’t know the ins and outs of his eintracht tenure, but other jobs will come up for him in Europe
