Why would Nico Kovac, or any other young ambitious manager (Eddie Howe has been mentioned) come to you for? Apart from showing what he could do to bigger Premier League clubs, and possibly getting a large pay off when he's shown the door.

Kovac was at Frankfurt and did a good job winning the cup, however his Adi Hutter took them to the next level I'd say. It was a huge surprise that he got the Bayern job, and although he won the league (or rather, Dortmund lost it) he underachieved with an exceptionally talented squad, albeit one that did need refreshing.
He won't get another job so high profile, so what makes you say West Ham is now below him?

In regards to signing a new manager it would seem they we’re going to go for Moyes. I’m fairly certain Kovac wasn’t approached or an exciting Championship manager such as Bielsa.
After all, if you don’t ask you don’t get and surely you’ve got to aim high and try and tempt highly regarded Managers into the position.

Tbf, they showed ambition with Pellegrini, backed him with a big budget and he’s gone on to prove he’s no longer as committed as he was at Malaga, Real & Man City. Let alone his woeful tactics.
But to make such a backward step and return to Moyes (if the deluge of reports are true) when Nico Kovac is available is abysmal.
