Tbf, they showed ambition with Pellegrini, backed him with a big budget and he’s gone on to prove he’s no longer as committed as he was at Malaga, Real & Man City. Let alone his woeful tactics.
But to make such a backward step and return to Moyes (if the deluge of reports are true) when Nico Kovac is available is abysmal.

but you've been poor for a while right.
Where's the investment in the infrastructure, apart from your move to the olympic stadium?
What's the youth team set up looking like? Training ground? Where's the money you've earned from being in the Premier League gone?
Feels like you guys are constantly treading water, before grabbing hold of something to keep you above water before things go shit.
Why would Nico Kovac, or any other young ambitious manager (Eddie Howe has been mentioned) come to you for? Apart from showing what he could do to bigger Premier League clubs, and possibly getting a large pay off when he's shown the door.
Gold and Sullivan have been at West Ham for what 15years? More?
Isn’t it time they looked at themselves and how they are running the club than firing every manager that doesn’t achieve their ambitions?
Surely they need to change their approach and the people they employ to run the club to give themselves a chance? Managers can’t do it all in their own.
