Cool, so m7000 should work? I thought I'd read they'd changed the ratio for activation (or words to that effect) for the 7020/8020; is that bollocks?
Touch wood, I've actually sorted out the hy/rd I had given up on. A new cable and very careful rethreading of cable outer so as not to kink it seems to have made it work loads better.
Some forum somewhere, it was to do with the travel on the levers, which is apparently much better on the new model. It was possibly just one post by one person though so maybe not reliable
