  • wow, this last season of Mr. Robot was quite a roller coaster. Glad they managed to bring it
    down gently.

  • Can you watch Witcher without having played the video game?
Will watching Witcher ruin the game for me if I finally get round to playing it?

  • Started Witcher thinking this is terrible but slowly got in to it and now think its alright

  • Really, you need to have read all the books, then played the game.

  • then read the comics

  • Obviously.

  • Nah, you can jump right in I think, it's mainly the early part of the characters as I know them from the games from what I can tell. I don't think it's all set at the same time either but reckon they're all heading together, not knowing that wouldn't take away from all the monsters, fighting and nipples though.

  • Don’t Fuck with Cats was good

    It reminded me of this

  • Don’t Fuck with Cats was good

Started to watch until I saw those two kittens and it was off. Tell me you don't actually see anything? In fact just the description would be enough....

  • I haven't watched the cats thing as I've been warned it's graphic, is that right?

  • No it doesn’t show anything it’s on tv ffs it’s not ogrish

  • You don’t see anything in the first video, the second one isn’t nice, I would say the description of what happened is worse than anything you see. It’s worth trying to get beyond it as it a total bazaar story.

  • I want to watch Witcher, especially if most of it is Gwent. Is most of it Gwent?

  • tl;dr

  • witchers.

4 episodes in and off. impenetrable, poorly made dog turd of a show. fucking woeful.

  • I only managed about 15 minutes of the 1st episode - Awful.

  • It's the best TV show of a game of a comic of a book ever made.

  • Can't wait for the film.

  • I think Lindelof said that was it for him and would have to be someone else running it if they did choose to do S02

  • Who's watching Worzel then?

  • @aggi @soul @marcomarcos
So didn't get round to pulling the trigger on the telly. Mainly just super busy with the young family plus other expenditures but now/still very much in the market. solo, max budget £500 (would rather much closer to 400 though)
    Choices seem to be:
55" Hisense ULED 55h7ubk (HDR 10+ Wide Colour Gammut??? Anyway should be a step up in terms of pic £399

    Hisense 65" 65b7300uk £419 Biiiig screen bargain?

    Edit: Now sold out

Also Hisense have 5 year warranties!!

    LG 55" 55UM7100PLB £339
LG 60" 60UM7100PLB £429 (is the extra 5" worth £90 when considering I could have an extra 10 with the Hisense for only £80 more?)

    LG 2 year warranties

Any other options that compare in terms of vfm?

To add, will mainly be streaming Netflix, Prime, Kodi - no gaming etc

    All the best

  • LG 55" 55UM7100PLB £339

We’ve just got one of these a couple of weeks ago. It seams good, has Netflix and amazon access via buttons on the controller, all very easy to set up(if you can remember your passwords!)We’ve got our on the wall as our 20 month old has water damaged/ smashed 2 TVs in the last 6 weeks.
