  • Same as you did in the device manager settings for the keyboard but just look for the usb controllers. I'm on windows 7 but it's the same really.

  • Cool, just checked and every single one on the list has option 1 ticked but I presume I’d have to tick the allow this device to wake the computer? Which are all greyed our?

    Apologies everyone, last time I used a PC properly was with I was 17. Using PCs are work don’t count as they won’t allow you to do any of these troubleshoot anyway...

    When you say greyed out, do you mean you can't tick them? That's the first step in the article I linked to....

  • I think if you pair them like this it will all work as you want.

  • And yes if option 1 is ticked then to save power they turn off so the devices plugged into the usb ports(the keyboard) won't wake the computer.

    If you need to check get an old fashioned ps/2 connection keyboard and plug that in to wake it(if your computer even has one of them ports still).
