Seriously disagree , I think omega quality/technology is an absolute bargain compared to Rolex .
The fit and finish is better , the presentation is better and the warranty the same . Omega service department is way ahead of Rolex as well.
Having said all that I wouldn’t want to be without Rolex as a brand in our stores for all the money in the world

No shareholders. Literally their number one concern is the long term sustainability of Rolex. It’s not in their interests (or their nature) to dramatically increase production and hike prices.
Also - Rolex prices are fine in the context of the market and the strength of the Swiss franc atmo. It’s brands like Omega and IWC whose prices are a joke. Rolex’s product development and continual improvement puts almost everyone else to shame, whatever you think of their marketing / manufacturing / etc.
