  • Yeah I like doing that.

Great way to smash through all the spokes though if you ever forget to unlock the back wheel :)

  • If you have a lot of weight and the ground is uneven its quite hard to get it on and off the stand, and the stand will eventually break, there is a steel/chromo version which is burlier but heavier. The side stand mod makes it easier with large loads and saves a bit of weight (I know), also better for very rough ground like in that photo.
R+M have a really tough stand which is easy to get on and off, but only gives the front wheel some 2cm of ground clearance, so unless your on very very flat ground it just kind of sits to one side and/or wobbles backwards down the hill its on.

  • Thanks for the link, I won and collected this today.

  • £380 ??

    Nice!

    : D

  • Nice! Let us know how it goes

  • Raleigh makes a $700USD cycletruck called the "Lorry,"

Saw it in person yesterday, it's not terrible. Carry capacity isn't as high as the Tradesman, but considering a complete costs less than the Tradesman frameset, it seems ok.

  • Looks cute!

Bigger front rack would be something though.

Also that poor stand, looks like is has to pee and will collapse in five seconds..

  • Think I spy a few bosses on the rack. Just need to attach a nice size fairly thick bit of wood to it and you’ll be dandy

  • Mods for days. Front shock is a shortened Cannondale headshock from 26” to 20”, steerer chopped off and extended and then the dude fabricated a custom wire cable steering which apparently handles high speeds better when fully loaded. Not to mention the rear end which is bonkers.

  • Good lord, that is crazy awesome!

  • What’s this hanging on the back here then?

(I know, of all the questions to ask..!)

  • Problably a pump for the shocks I reckon.
I have no idea about the round thing though.

  • Looks like a pump and a lock

  • Rockbros Hamburger Lock

  • That’s the bit I couldn’t identify!

  • Could be another branding on the lock, but it’s the burger lock. I remember seeing one on a seatpost under the saddle aaaaaaages ago and never got round to buying one.

  • I don't understand why you'd want the added complexity for a bike like this.

The cable steering is better though when fully loaded.

    Also the stem is backwards.

  • Hasn’t even got bar ends / plugs!

  • can always do a trackstand and leave before their stand has folded back up though...

  • Bullitts are surprisingly easy to trackstand!

  • As long as they're not too over loaded.

  • Touché! I knew it reminded me of something but I couldn’t quite pinpoint it.

  • Our mate Malcolm has come up with an ingenious new design
