Yes, I've had them all before. The BA version was awesome though, that was the first time I'd tried it. I dad have a laugh with Bryan after writing 'hippy' on my box of bottles.

Haha!
that Barley wine I had last night was rocket fuel. Not rushing to drink it again but it was interesting. -

The Põhjala? I've got a Siren 2017 I'll get rid of soon but I don't tend to go for Barely wines.

"Maiden 2017 celebrates five amazing years of brewing at Siren. The 2017 blend contains beer from Rum, Bourbon (including Heaven Hill & Jim Beam), Red Wine (French Oak), Tequila and Auchentoshan Single Malt barrels, along with about 15% made up of fresh Maiden. The aroma truly sings this year with red wine and berry notes prominent, before pillowy soft marshmallow on the palate gives way to spirit and spicy wood undertones. The blend rounds off with a long, rich finish. "

Yeah the Pohjala, it was just a bit too strong which over-ruled the flavour profile a bit.
That Maiden sounds incredible!

Yeah, I think I was sold on the blurb after a session so grabbed a traveler. It's been in the cupboard a while now. I just picked up the rest of my Sadako haul...

There was a bottle or two of this at Clapton Craft in Kentish Town last week, you might get lucky!

Beavertown Chocolate Orange Porter, doesn’t jump out the can and grab you, quite subtle but still very moorish

They were quite keen on the odd sherbet.

I need a bigger fridge.

• #7866
8 degrees outside today, that’s probably about right for stouts.

• #7867
That's also about the same temperature of our kitchen (save the planet, you fuckin' hippie) so I don't really need a fridge. :)
Today's EFP looks good and now I'm in the office I get to collect the last few days too. There's a triple IPA in there at 16.5%. Dafuq
Torn between drinking them all at once vs. spacing them out a bit, maybe storing a few (after having decided to drink all my other cellared beers, doh!)

That Guinness shit is £30 a bottle?!
EDIT: No. https://www.beerhawk.co.uk/timmermans-x-guinness-lambic-stout

Any recommended bottle shops around Camberwell way?
-
• #7870
Yeah, some resellers seem to be taking the piss. For a tenner I might chance a bottle.
-
• #7871
I'll wait until I see it on sale. There's basically too many beers to drink so I just try and ignore them. I hate seeing something interesting then finding out it's long gone. So, best to keep myself in the dark and enjoy what I do actually come across.

You can buy takeaway from Stormbird. The Pigeon have some Belgians in their fridge, not sure if takeaway allowed. Nowt else around there, closest is Ghostwhale in Brixton or Hop Burns and Black in Peckham.

Just go to Hop Burns and Black in Peckham

Love Stormbird, will check the others out cheers!
Yeah, but I was only there to drink the draught but ended up buying a bunch of their old bottles which I need to go collect. I'd already been there the previous weekend and grabbed some stuff in bottles.
