Doesn't the research suggest that it is?
The perception of the voters is that it's relevant, and the Tory campaign & leadership knew this and exploited this.
That's what wins elections.

The point I'm making is one person's issues are ignored and the others focussed on.
If what you're saying is the majority of public don't care about the stuff Boris has said and done then I'm definitely leaving the country.
I say this as a brown person, as a son of Muslim immigrants and as a human being.
