When him and his party spend the next 5 years ignoring them and breaking their promises. Which they will, because it is their nature. Labour just need the right leader to be waiting in the wings to scoop them up, someone relatable, who focusses on the 2/3 headline policies most hurting them. The manifesto is sound but appeared to promise too much to skeptics.
If Labour is now the party of the MLE (and I think it is) then it's going to be tough to see a route to power - what's going to turn the now conservative working class voter away from Johnson?
