If this exit poll is correct you can’t be serious!?
-
• #2278
Fucking depressing.
-
• #2279
Fuck this shit.
I'm going to become a Tory.
-
• #2280
A number of people I know said they'd like to vote Labour but just couldn't vote Corbyn (as a personality)
-
• #2281
This follows the trend of any recent major vote: what is the worst case scenario? That will happen.
Cameron, Trump, Brexit, Boris. -
• #2282
Byeeeeee. Was nice knowing you.
-
• #2283
I presume the provisional result means that the Midlands and the North have voted in a manner politely described as ironic.

Long time lurker on this thread.. Very pleased.. Let the abuse begin!

Cynical me is wondering who's set to profit on overnight currency fluctuations with the exit poll news
-

Time to get married (dumb ass Dutch dual nationality law) and get that citizenship application in the post.
Hope I won't piss away my £1300+ and get it.
Fucksake. A border poll is a good 10 years off. At least the Tories as they are now want shot of NI anyway and not block it...

• #2287
We are all so, so fucked.

As long as you're in the demographic who will benefit then well done I guess, sadly I need to earn a couple of hundred thousand a year more than I do at the moment to be in the same group as you.

I don’t live in the UK and genuinely don’t know if I ever would move back. But this makes it a lot less likely; monumentally depressing
-
• #2290
Yes - same with friends / family in the Midlands.
We know there's enough voters that will vote labour if you make it easy enough for them to do so, and to win you need those voters. It's inexcusable to alienate them like the party have done.
Fuck knows if they'll ever be able to get them back once they've been brexited.
-
• #2291
Going to take this at face value... Why are you pleased?
-
• #2292
Well it's not simple. He could have been more aggressive.
What I mean is that his vision for the country is one that I wholly agree with and believe in. If he'd never been leader would that shift have happened?
How would a centrist, remain labour have done? -

This site is going to be Lothian Fixed Gear and Single Speed next year

This is based on exit poll.
No votes have been counted or confirmed or released yet.
Might get figures in around 23.30 then trickles through early hours, may as well get hammered and check in around 5 am to see whats happening. -
• #2295
How have the party alienated those people? The fucking papers have alienated those voters. My dad spouts negative corbyn soundbites constantly, they're nothing to do with the party policies.
-
• #2296
A year ago I'd have been advocating for Corbyn to step aside for someone else.

grim chuckle

Unless mistaken, a leftist Labour haven’t won since the mid/late 70. The country is full of self serving cunts. Dipping your Trojan horse toe near the centre line/right of it ala New Labour years seems like the only way to sway over the country no?

• #2299
Best we can hope for is Boris losing his seat
-
• #2300
I dunno, SNP seem to do alright
Completely agree. We're doomed.
