First time I was allowed to vote was 2010 and politics has felt like a nonstop blast in the face with a fire hose of political sewage ever since. I still maintain a tiny little glimmer of optimism but very much expecting it to go the wrong way yet again. Expect a lot of people in my generation feel the same way.
