They're probably not spending money on targeting you. Facebook gives very granular control over who you target the ads at and there's no point in wasting ads on people you won't convince (and you can lie a bit and a lot of people who'd point out they were lies won't see them).

Well not that it means anything, but on Instagram #votetory only 1000 posts, #toryscum has 5k plus and #votelabour 101k plus. (Not all of them by me)
