I was just out in Bolton west and spoke to a few labour voters who won’t be voting labour, on the plus they looked at me with disgust when I asked if they would be supporting Tory. Brexit is very decisive and if you don’t believe your previous vote has been listened to then why vote again, challenging times.

is london that place where they propelled that chubby clown man to national and international prominence by electing him mayor twice?

Also I’m not so sure how many of these life-long labour voters voted for Jeremy and the Labour Party in 2017 so still not sure how it’s going to play out.

Telegraph:
Boris Johnson has warned the general election is “on a knife edge” as
the Telegraph’s final poll of the campaign shows that the
Conservatives' lead has shrunk to just five per cent. With the result now “too close to call”, the exclusive Savanta ComRes
survey puts the Conservatives on 41 per cent ahead of Labour on 36 per
cent, the smallest Tory lead since mid-October. -

Overjoyed to have just received my postal vote. Just 24 hours to get it from Australia to the UK. Absolutely fucked system.
-
• #2033
My postal vote was also balled up and was denied an emergency proxy.
-

Mine wasn't ballsed up. It was sent out on the day they promised, but was absolutely woefully inadequate time to get it here and back again. I would have signed up for a proxy if I knew it was going to be like this, and was also denied an emergency proxy.

Heh. I didn’t trust the PV system from Spain. You’ve been in Oz too long and forgotten how shit the U.K. postal system is.

I only know these lyrics to "woman like me" because the song was covered nearly every night by my kids in this school year.

Interesting.
Although pretty sure the relevant act says that communicating information gathered illegally is an offence in itself. Let's see what happens.

Done.
.none of this social media bollocks about spoil your ballot an actual vote.
Worst election i have seen in my life and i expect things will only get worse. MPs are so out of touch with reality.
Go cast a vote.

Voted. This is only the second time I have been able to vote in the UK so my only benchmark is the European elections this year. Much busier today for the same time of day than the European elections. Let's hope that the turn out is better everywhere today.

Horrible wind and rain on the south coast, hopefully it'll keep all the old Tories at home (faint hope)
-
• #2045
I expected you to be older for some reason
-
• #2046
Sadly I think someone mentioned previously that rain generally decreases the labour vote.

• #2047
In and out in 5 minutes. A dog behind me did not like the polling station.
-
• #2048
Just voted. Before the rain. No waiting for me but a long queue for people from the other half of the ward.

Queuing out the building and round the corner (>100 people) at my local polling station in Putney according to Mrs GB, but that's peak pre-work time.

Wish this was on every front page today.

i've had labour round my way pretty much daily. must have had ten bits through the door. not seen a single tory sign or canvasser. who's voting for them? i get the anti-semitism thing, but not sure how that actually affects things.
