Can't you mount it on the left side under the cargo bed, it won't hang any lower than the stand that way?
-
• #3978
Good shout, but it's not at all in the way where it is.

Not really sure what you mean, will check the inside tonight!

Those triangle bags are such a good idea, good use of space. Not seen that mid drive motor before, will check them out.

Is it the little box on the steerer side? It's a pad for the headrest when you "extend" it.
Can't really see much else because the Melia seat is blocking all else. -
• #3985
I’m not sure.

Yesterday reminded me of the perils of riding a cargo bike with a huge box on the front in high winds. Nearly got blown into traffic on more than one occasion. I absolutely refused to ride any of our cargo trikes that already feel like they're going to topple over if you go round a bend to fast.

speaking of high winds, we lost 2 6foot x 6foot fence panels last night. B&Q is only 3 miles up the road and my only way of collecting them is on the cargo bike, should be interesting!

Stand them upright, wear a pirates hat and sail home

Oooft, that'll be a laugh! Maybe wait until the wind's died down a bit.

What's up with the kick stand? Double but only on the nds?
-
• #3994
I have something similar on my Omnium. A Madison branded one.

Never knew that was a thing. I would think a stand keeping it upright would be more useful on a cargo bike especially if it's loaded. I've got the classic one on my Bullitt but some guy on the net started fabricating some conventional ones which just seam strange to me. Can't wrap my head around it.

Those doubles spread out either side of the wheel don't they?
-
• #3997
That’s what I’ve seen.
-
• #3998
Yeah they do, they just tuck away on one side

The more you know etc...

Bulitt/urban arrows have the gold standard though, seeing someone drop it down at traffic lights and be able to rock forward for it to disengage and head off makes me jealous as an omnium owner.
@LeMesjeu Whats the matchbox sized woven 'box' inside the canopy of bullitt in the middle for?
